L&T and US Raytheon team up for T-72 Upgrade
Engineering and construction major Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said it has tied up with the US-based defence major Raytheon to bid for the upgradation of T72 tanks used by the Indian army.
India’s external debt rises by 8.1%
The country’s total external debt stock, at the end of September, recorded an increase of 8.1 per cent from the end-March 2009 estimates.
The external debt at the end of September stood $242.8 billion, an increase of $18.2 billion over end-March.
