‘Avatar’ to release with 700 prints in India
There is an incredible buzz around the film in India and we are going all out to give it the best possible release. ‘Avatar’ will be released with 700 prints, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, which is by far one of the biggest releases for a Hollywood film in India,’ Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios India, said in a statement.

In a unique marketing strategy to promote his upcoming film 3 Idiots, Bollywood actor maker Aamir Khan has virtually disappeared into thin air before the film’s release.
The star cast of the film during a media conference held here on Friday disclosed that Khan would be on an adventure trip throughout the country for two weeks.
Asked by the media whether it is a publicity stunt to attract audience, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra denied and said that his film already has houseful bookings.
Reliance BIG Pictures snaps up ‘Raavan’
Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’ may well be the ‘Apocalypse Now’ of Bollywood, considering its development hell and never ending, torturous shoot. However the film makers can breathe a sigh of relief as Reliance BIG Pictures have confirmed that they will distribute the film.
Rumours were abuzz that BIG Pictures had backed off from the project halfway into filming, but the company`s CEO Sanjeev Lamba assured that they are indeed financing ‘Raavan’. “We are co-producing the film with Madras Talkies (Ratnam`s production house). We are associated with the film from day one. The reports that we backed off are not true,” Lamba told reporters.

Auro to do cricket comentatory for Ind vs SL T20 at Mohali
In a unique promotion spree for Bollywood movie Paa, its famous character Auro aka Amitabh Bachchan will be doing the commentary for the second Twenty20 match between India and Sri Lanka at Mohali on December 12.
Auro will do the commentary during the breaks between the match.
Director Balki confirmed the news and said that Amitabh will be heard as an expert commentator in Auro’s soft childish voice during the match. “Amitabh will do television commentary for a cricket match for the first time in his career, he said.
Deepika happy with her break-up with Ranbir
Media might have spread the news that post break-up Deepika Padukone has lost her weight and she is totally heartbroken but the ‘Om Shanti Om’ actress have something else to say. When media popped the question to Deepika, “Are you happy after your break-up with Ranbir?” angry Deepika Padukone said, “Of course, I am happy. Don’t I look happy?”
Deepika publicly spoke about her relationship during the launch of Neutrogena Fine Fairness’ at Grand Hyatt Mumbai. When reporters asked her about her split-up with Ranbir, she was angry but did not lost her cool and very reluctantly answered their question.
But when media became too personal and questioned her about the RK tattoo that she has inked on her back, she chose to remain mum. Another question that fumed Deepika was, “Is the brand coming out with a cream that will erase your tattoo?” At this stage Deepika preferred to maintain silence.
